Young Leaders who support Beaver, Cub and Scout sections must undertake a selection of training modules and can complete 4 missions to earn their Young Leader Belt Buckle.

Below are a selection of certificates relating to the Young Leader scheme. This includes:

• Module Certificates for Modules A-K
• Mission Certificates for each of the 4 missions
• Certificate for when a YL becomes an Adult Leader
• Belt Buckle certificate for those that complete all aspects of training

 

 

Each of the module and mission certificates now include a short overview of the tasks the YL must complete to be awarded for the certificate. These are correct at time of posting (Feb 2019) based on the ‘Take the Lead’ booklet.

The certificate for completing their time as a YL is based on the Farewell certificates available for each section and includes the additional badge YLs can wear on their adult uniform.

The certificate for the YL Belt Buckle is designed in the same style as the Chief Scout Awards as it too is the highest award for the section.
