In 2014 I was part of a team which developed a County Beaver Scout Challenge in the run up to our 6th Beaver Bonanza funday. At the start of the year, the ‘Furry Fred Goes Global’ challenge was issued free to all Derbyshire Colonies along with a number of accompanying resources.
Whilst the challenge has ended, the Leader’s book which was developed contains a wide range of ideas and interesting missions to help colonies explore the world and Scouting overseas. I therefore decided it would be a nice resource to share with other counties and Colonies.
The challenge has had a few adaptations and used to include references to the Pre-2015 Challenge badges. However, it contains some useful resources and things to try.
